Alesia Weston
Alesia has mentored filmmakers and screenwriters across five continents for over 20 years. She ran the Sundance Institute's International Feature Film Program for a decade, during which time she steered some of the most original new voices from idea to film.
In 2018, she co-founded Starfish, an impact accelerator for artist entrepreneurs, and she now spearheads their creative program. Alesia incorporates her knowledge of artistic and strategic processes into her coaching, offering a style that is equal parts rigorous, compassionate, and imaginative. She gravitates towards leaders who are meaningfully engaged in improving the world.
Alesia's superpower is communication - she loves helping others to distill the essence of their vision and discover the infrastructure needed to support it.
In her spare time, you’ll find Alesia in a theatre or keeping up with her family and its growing menagerie of animals.
